“Songs for Us” is a collaboration between the Bulgarian National Radio and the Sofia Boys’ Choir with conductor Adriana Blagoeva. It includes studio and documentary recordings from the BNR‘s catalog of works by Bulgarian composers written since 1989, specifically for the Sofia Boys’ Choir, many performed here for the first time.
The album is dedicated to the 50th anniversary of the choir and is vivid proof of the fruitful longterm collaboration between the conductor of the choir, Doctor Adriana Blagoeva, and some of the most prominent contemporary Bulgarian composers. The basis of these songs are beloved Bulgarian poems.
